Escape the city and dive into the lush paradise of Mindo Cloud Forest, where breathtaking landscapes, exotic wildlife, and thrilling activities await! Our journey begins northwest of Quito, with a stop at the Pululahua Reserve one of the only inhabited volcanic craters in the world if you haven’t visited it yet. A few kilometers further, we’ll take a magical pause at Alambi Reserve, a hummingbird haven where you’ll witness these dazzling creatures up close, along with many other bird species.

Once in Mindo, we venture deeper into nature, driving 5 km to reach the Nambillo Reserve, where a scenic hike through the mystical cloud forest reveals vibrant flora and diverse birdlife including, with a bit of luck, majestic toucans! The hike to the Nambillo Waterfall and back takes about an hour, and if you’re feeling adventurous, you can even take a refreshing dip in the river.

For adrenaline seekers, zip-lining (canopy) through the treetops offers an exhilarating rush, while nature lovers can explore the butterfly farm or the orchid garden for a more serene experience. After an action-packed morning, we’ll recharge with a delicious lunch and a cold beer before indulging in the grand finale an immersive chocolate tour, where you’ll discover the art of chocolate-making and savor a variety of rich flavors.
